President's Message 2009
We all share a common vision; that of having the best catholic education for our children. To achieve this let us revisit and reflect upon the 2010 vision which I officially unveiled in 2004 as the basis of my leadership and the targets for our organisation.
Together with this 2010 vision (which I also termed the 7 management manifesto) are its bedrock programs and the principles of good governance practices (transparency, monitoring and empowerment) and in this school year a contract of partnership called home school agreement between the parents, students and the school made our accountabilities more explicit. We will continue to uphold these targets and values and they will continue be the basis of our actions.
Further, I wish to thank everyone for all of the support you have given the school amidst numerous constraints. As I know, the road will continue to be rough. Nevertheless, our constant determination to do what is good and right for the general welfare of the people we serve will make our journey profoundly meaningful and worthwhile.
In the coming years, as I continue to learn through the lesson of past experiences, good and bad, we must aim to ensure things implicit are made explicit. Let us work harder in learning the principles and practices of good governance so that we will continue to have consistency and uniformity in our decisions and practices.
God Bless you all and congratulations to our dear students, parents, faculty, staff and the members of the management team for a job well done and let us look forward to the same enthusiasm for school year 2009-2010.
